A Business Blog Relaunch

At the end of March, we launched an all new version of Our Pulse, the official company blog of NuMetrex. Our Pulse provides all the latest in the world of heart rate monitoring and NuMetrex ongoings. The new release took the original infrastructure we had created several years ago and turned it into a new, more usable business blog. It's quite amazing at how much difference a little onscreen re-organization of data can do.
In this release we also teamed the blog up with Google's newly acquired FeedBurner service to further maximize the exposure of the blog's RSS feed. FeedBurner is, simply put, the Google Analytics for RSS feeds with a bunch of really cool tools to help spice up and distribute your RSS feed.
Of course, re-organizing existing onscreen data is not the beginning for the blog but merely the first step forward in taking the blog to the next level. Next steps will include analyzing the archival process, building more detailed search capabilities, incorporating "performancing" techniques to reduce response times/server hits and of course everything else a pro blog needs.
